Privacy Policy

Iromusha / Last updated: 19 September 2026

日本語版

Katsumi Sakurai ("the developer") provides this policy for the iOS app "Iromusha" ("the app").

1. Information the developer does not collect

The app has no accounts and the developer runs no server. The developer never receives any information about you.

The app does not use or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location or microphone.

2. Data stored on your device

Your progress is stored on the device only (iOS UserDefaults) and is never transmitted.

TypeContent
ResultsYour time for each day you finished (kept separately per year)
SettingsWhether the "how to play" section is expanded

Deleting the app removes this data. The developer cannot read or retrieve it.

3. Photos

The app can build a puzzle from a photo you choose. A single photo you pick in the iOS photo picker is read and used only on your device, to shrink it and reduce its colours into a grid of dots.

Neither the photo nor the picture made from it is sent to the developer or any third party, and it is not stored in the app (it is discarded when you leave that puzzle). The app does not request access to your whole photo library.

4. Advertising

The app shows ads through Google AdMob. For ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention, AdMob may automatically collect:

TypeContent
Advertising identifiersIDFA and identifiers issued by AdMob
Device informationDevice model, OS version, language, screen size, etc.
Approximate locationCountry or region estimated from the IP address
Ad interactionImpressions, taps, etc.

This information is collected and used by Google; the developer does not receive it directly. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Banner ads appear at the bottom of the title and game screens. A full-screen ad may appear when you are stuck or after you finish a puzzle and move on, and only if at least 75 seconds have passed since the previous one. Ads never interrupt a puzzle in progress.

5. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

On first launch the app may show Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. The advertising identifier is used for personalised ads only if you allow it. If you decline, you see non-personalised ads and every feature of the app works exactly the same. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

6. Users in the EU, UK and Switzerland

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app presents a consent form through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can change your choice at any time from "広告のプライバシー設定" (Ad privacy settings) on the title screen, which is shown only where such a choice must be offered.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may change as the law or the app changes. Significant changes will be announced on this page.
