Privacy Policy
How TBスライドショー (TBSlideShow) handles personal information.
This app collects no user information. Photos and settings are handled only on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to the developer or to any third party.
1. Information we collect
The app does not collect any information that identifies you, such as your name, email address, phone number, location, or device identifiers. It does not collect usage statistics or interaction history.
2. Photos
The app uses the photos you choose in order to play them as a slideshow.
- Selected photos are copied into storage that belongs to this app alone. No other app can read it.
- Photos, and any information contained in them, are never transmitted to any server.
- Photos are deleted when you delete them inside the app, or when you delete the app from your iPhone.
3. Face detection
So that faces are not cut off when a photo is cropped to fill the screen, the app determines where faces appear in a photo.
- What is obtained: only numbers describing the area a face occupies within the photo (its centre position and size). The app does not create or obtain face images, faceprints, face templates, or any other biometric data.
- Where processing happens: entirely on the device, using the Vision framework provided by Apple in iOS. Neither the photos nor the results are transmitted anywhere.
- No identification: the app has no ability to determine who a person is. It never compares faces with one another and never associates a face with a name or a contact.
- Purpose: limited to deciding how a photo is cropped, adjusting the scale so that faces stay inside their frame when several photos are shown at once, and supporting the optional "play only photos that contain faces" setting.
- Storage and retention: those numbers are stored as part of that photo's record, inside this app's own storage. They are never provided or shared with any third party. They are deleted together with the photo when you delete it inside the app, or when you delete the app from your iPhone.
4. Photo library permission
The app asks for access to your photo library only when you use the feature that imports an entire album. The permission is used solely to read the photos in the album you selected and copy them into the app. The app never modifies, deletes, or adds photos in your library.
You can change this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
5. In-app purchase
The purchase of Power Saving Mode is handled through Apple's App Store. Payment information is handled by Apple; the developer never receives your credit card number or similar details. The app only checks, on the device, whether the purchase has been made.
6. Network use
The app has no server of its own and makes no requests to one. Network communication occurs only in these cases:
- Retrieving the price of, and completing, the in-app purchase (communication with Apple's servers).
- If you use iCloud Photos, retrieving a photo you chose to import onto the device (communication performed by Apple's framework).
7. Third parties
The app contains no advertising, analytics, or behavioural tracking services of any kind. No user information is provided or sold to third parties.
8. Children's privacy
The app may be used at any age. As described above, it collects no user information, and therefore collects no information about children.
